I am a member in good standing of the Minnesota and Wisconsin Bars.
Federal courts have their own rules for bar admissions, and I am currently a member in good standing of the
bars of the following Federal trial courts (with dates of admission):
- The United States District Court for the District of Minnesota (1982)
- The United States District Court for the Western District of Texas (1993)
- The United States District Court for the District of North Dakota (1997)
- The United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin (2003)
I am currently a member in good standing of the bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit (1983), and the Supreme Court of the United States of America (1988).
I am currently Board Certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Civil Trial Specialist for the six-year term 2007 - 2013.
I hold an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the leading American and international lawyers’ directory and rating service. This is the highest possible rating, and is explained by Martindale-Hubbell as follows:
- AV Peer Review Rating - shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence. He or she has usually practiced law for many years, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.
